A warm and welcoming family in Hamburg, NY is seeking a nurturing, engaging part-time nanny to care for their happy and inquisitive 8-month-old daughter! Both parents are professionals, with Dad working remotely from a home office and Mom running two thriving businesses. They are excited to find a caregiver who will become a trusted and consistent presence in their daughter’s early years.

This is a childcare-focused role centered around attentive, developmentally appropriate care. Their daughter is a joyful, curious baby who loves to be engaged, included, and encouraged to explore her surroundings. The family values a nanny who will fill her days with meaningful interaction such as reading, talking, playing, and supporting her as she reaches new milestones.

The family follows a relaxed, baby-led approach to feeding and sleep, allowing their daughter’s cues and natural rhythms to guide the day. An ideal candidate will feel comfortable with this flexible style while still providing gentle structure and consistency around naps, meals, and daily routines. As she grows, the family would love for their nanny to take her on outings such as walks, park visits, and other enriching experiences. While driving is not initially required, comfort with transporting a child in the future is preferred once a trusting relationship is established.

The ideal candidate is warm, attentive, and playful, with a calm and easygoing demeanor. They should be confident in infant care, enjoy fostering independence and exploration, and be fully present and engaged throughout the day. The family has two friendly dogs (no care required), and a gated play area is set up for a comfortable working environment.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who truly enjoys the infant stage and is looking to build a meaningful, long-term relationship with a kind, laid-back, growing family!

Requirements:
2+ years of professional childcare experience (Infant Experience is required)
CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to become certified
Safe and reliable vehicle
Willingness to make a long-term commitment
