Schedule: M–F approximately 12:00pm–5:30pm with flexibility, including additional hours if desired by candidate.
Compensation: $25-30/h DOE

A welcoming, laid-back family in West Irondequoit, NY is looking for an energetic, resourceful, and imaginative Nanny/Family Assistant to help care for their two fun, independent children. With both parents managing busy professional lives, they would love to find someone who can take initiative, bring a positive energy to the afternoons, and provide dependable support with childcare and day-to-day household needs.

The position includes after-school and summer care, transportation, and plenty of opportunities for play and exploration. From neighborhood adventures and creative projects to outdoor games and trips to local playgrounds, there is plenty to keep the days active and engaging! The family’s home is on the lake, and features a spacious yard and beach area, so enjoying the outdoors is a big part of their lifestyle. Excellent swimming ability and a strong awareness of water safety are essential.

Household support will include grocery shopping, preparing children’s lunches and snacks, family laundry, light household tidying, organization, and other tasks that help keep the home running efficiently. The family is flexible and open to adjusting the balance of childcare and household responsibilities to suit the right candidate’s availability and interests.

The ideal person is outgoing, adaptable, creative, and comfortable taking the lead. This family embraces a relaxed, flexible approach to daily life and values someone who can anticipate needs, roll with changing plans, and confidently manage a busy afternoon. Requirements:
2+ years of professional childcare experience
Safe and reliable vehicle
CPR/First Aid certified
