A kind and growing family in Henrietta, NY is seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny to care for their newborn! Born one month early in August, their little one will be approximately 2–3 months old when the nanny begins, and the family is hoping to find someone who can provide loving, attentive care while helping them establish healthy routines as he grows. With Mom returning to work in late October or early November, they are looking for a dependable caregiver who can become a trusted part of their family during this exciting new chapter.
The primary focus of this role will be providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care throughout the day. Responsibilities include bottle preparation and washing, baby-related laundry and tidying, supporting naps and daily routines, engaging the child through age-appropriate developmental play, and sharing knowledge and insight with the parents as he grows. Local outings for walks, library time, or similar will be welcome once the family establishes a trusting relationship.
The ideal candidate will have strong newborn experience and a genuine understanding of infant development, sleep habits, and creating consistent routines. The family would especially value someone who is comfortable sharing their knowledge and offering guidance around healthy sleep habits, developmental milestones, and age-appropriate activities while remaining respectful of the parents’ preferences. Reliability, communication, and a warm, nurturing presence are especially important to the family. The family has a small dog who will be in the home and may be let outside throughout the day but does not require any additional care.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a newborn-experienced nanny who enjoys helping little ones thrive while also building a meaningful relationship with new parents!
