(OPEN) Proactive Part-Time Household Manager (Flexible Schedule) Needed for Family in Pittsford, NY!
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 8–12 hours/week spread over 2–3 weekdays. Flexible schedule with hour blocks between 8:30am–3pm, based on candidate preference. Preferred schedules include M/W/F, T/Th, or M/W, but the family is flexible.
Compensation: $28–35/hour DOE
Duration: Approximately 6 months, with the possibility of extending into the spring
A wonderful, returning Flower City Nannies family in Pittsford, NY is seeking a proactive and organized Household Manager to provide part-time support while their children are in school! This is a household-focused role with no childcare responsibilities, and the family is hoping to find someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day tasks that help keep their busy home organized and running smoothly.
Responsibilities will include managing laundry and linens, organizing children's rooms, clothing, and activity gear, preparing grocery and household supply lists, light tidying and organization, keeping track of school and activity calendars, monitoring clothing sizes and seasonal closet needs, and handling occasional returns and errands. The ideal candidate will be proactive and detail-oriented, able to look ahead, identify what needs to be done, and independently manage household tasks without requiring extensive direction.
The family is hoping to find someone dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently while one or both parents may occasionally be working from home. This is a wonderful opportunity for a Household Manager who enjoys bringing structure and organization to a family's day-to-day life and is looking for a flexible part-time position with the potential to extend beyond the initial six-month commitment.
Requirements:
2+ years of professional household management and/or family assistant experience
Safe & reliable transportation
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of household tasks
Willingness to make a 6-month commitment
