(OPEN) Energetic & Engaging Nanny/Family Assistant for Two Active Boys in Auburn, NY!

Ages of Children: 9 and 5 years old
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: M–F 1:00pm–6:00pm with some flexibility. Saturday mornings 9:30am–12:30pm – open to separate providers for weekend hours, if preferred.
Compensation:$21-25/h DOE

A warm and welcoming family in Auburn, NY is seeking a proactive, energetic Nanny/Family Assistant to support their two active and fun-loving boys! With Mom running a busy business and balancing many responsibilities, they are hoping to welcome a reliable, engaging caregiver who can help keep afternoons running smoothly while creating a fun and supportive environment for the kids.

The primary focus of this role will be after-school care and transportation. Responsibilities include school pickups, helping the boys transition home from their day, assisting with simple dinners for the children, and keeping them engaged with outdoor play, activities, and local outings such as the playground or library. The boys love to stay active and happy when they are busy, so a nanny who enjoys getting outside, planning activities, and keeping up with energetic kids will be a wonderful fit! The family has a pool, so comfort around water and strong swimming ability is important.

In addition to childcare, the role includes light Family Assistant support such as grocery pickup, helping tidy and organize children’s spaces (like the toy room), and occasional errands to help keep the household running smoothly. During the summer months, the schedule may shift slightly depending on camps and activities, with opportunities to assist with transportation to things like camps or sports practices.

The ideal candidate is mature, confident, and warm, with experience supporting children with sensory needs or learning differences. A patient, understanding, and a calm approach are highly valued. Mom describes her parenting style as easygoing but structured, and is looking for someone who can bring kindness, consistency, and confident leadership to busy afternoons with the boys.

Requirements:
2+ years of professional childcare experience
Safe and reliable vehicle
CPR/First Aid certified
