(OPEN) Patient, Fun, & Engaging (Recurring) Summer Nanny Needed for Two School-Age Children in Ogden, NY!

Ages of Children: 9 and 6 years old
Contract Dates: Mid–late June to early September every summer!
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
Compensation: $26-30/h DOE
Benefits: Guaranteed hours, PTO, paid major holidays

A warm, busy family in Ogden, NY is seeking a calm, patient, and engaging summer nanny to care for their two school-age children while parents work full-time during their seasonal business’s busiest months! This is a recurring summer role, ideal for a caregiver who enjoys creating memorable, enriching summers and building strong connections with children.

The family recently said goodbye to a long-term nanny who had been with them since 2020, and they are hoping to find someone who can step into a similar role — a steady, kind presence who brings creativity, structure, and emotional awareness into each day. Their previous nanny was deeply trusted, had a kind and calming presence, and supported the children through big feelings with patience, calm communication, and consistency. The family values gentle caregiving, emotional regulation, and a home environment that feels safe, reassuring, and supportive.

The children are active, curious, and enjoy getting out and about. Once trust is established with their new provider, summer days will include trips to local parks, museums, zoos, splash pads, and water parks, as well as special outings and adventures such as picnics at the beach! The family is excited to work with a nanny who enjoys keeping kids engaged, limiting screen time, and making summer feel special. Comfort driving children to activities or camps using the nanny’s own vehicle is required. A strong swimmer is also essential, as the family has an in-ground pool and safety is a top priority.In addition to attentive childcare, responsibilities include preparing breakfast and lunch for the children, supervising swimming, supporting emotional regulation, and keeping days running smoothly.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience

Safe and reliable vehicle

CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to become certified
