(OPEN) Proactive & Organized After-School Nanny/Family Assistant for Active Pittsford Family!

Ages of Children: 13, 10, and 6-year-old twins
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: M–F 20–25 hours per week (typically 12:30–5:30 PM, with flexibility)
Compensation: $25–30+/hour based on experience

A welcoming Flower City Nannies returning client family in Pittsford is seeking an experienced, dependable Nanny/Family Assistant to help support their busy household and four wonderful children! Their current provider is relocating to start her next chapter, and they are excited to welcome their next long-term fit. With everyone in school during the day and enrolled in camps and activities throughout the year, afternoons are busy, and they’re looking for someone who can confidently step in and help keep their household running smoothly.

This role blends after-school childcare with hands-on household support. Responsibilities include afternoons with the children from approximately 3-5:30 PM, driving to sports practices and activities, and creating a positive, structured environment at home. In addition, the family would appreciate assistance with family laundry, meal prep, grocery stocking, errands, and occasional household projects that help the week flow more seamlessly. These tasks can be accomplished during earlier afternoon hours before the children arrive home from school, and the family is flexible regarding what those exact hours look like based on candidate preference. A family vehicle will be available for use for all work-related driving.

The children are outgoing, energetic, and deeply involved in sports, arts, and outdoor play. The ideal candidate will enjoy engaging with school-aged children and feel comfortable balancing fun and connection with clear expectations and follow-through. Someone organized, adaptable, and naturally proactive who can anticipate needs will be a wonderful fit.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience

CPR/First Aid certified

Safe and reliable driver (use of family vehicle provided)

Willingness to make a long-term commitment
