Start Date: April 2026 (flexible)

A kind and excited family in Rochester is preparing to welcome their first baby in February and is seeking an experienced, nurturing full-time nanny to join them as they transition into parenthood! Both parents are healthcare professionals with overlapping but staggered schedules, so they are looking for a confident caregiver who can provide reliable daytime newborn care - and help them learn as they go! The family will also have a Beagle puppy in the home (approximately 10 months old at start) and would love a nanny who is comfortable assisting with very light pet care.
This role is focused primarily on loving and attentive newborn care: feeding, diapering, naps, and age-appropriate developmental play. As their baby grows, guidance on sleep training and routines will be appreciated. The ideal candidate will feel confident supporting first-time parents by sharing knowledge, suggesting strategies, and creating a warm and stimulating environment for their little one. Outings to parks, walks, story time, and local baby activities are encouraged! Additional responsibilities may include simple bottle/baby meal preparation, child-related tidying, and occasional help with the puppy such as feeding and short walks.
The family hopes to find a nanny who is not only experienced and safety-conscious, but who is also loving, calm, and supportive - someone who will treat their baby like their own and help these new parents feel confident and at ease. A Spanish-speaking candidate would be a wonderful bonus, as Mom has a personal connection to Spanish language from her own upbringing.
This is a truly special opportunity for a knowledgeable, compassionate nanny who loves newborns and would enjoy helping a sweet, grateful family through this exciting new chapter!
