(OPEN) Imaginative & Reliable Babysitter Needed for Easygoing Family in Rock Stream, NY!

Ages of Children: 3.5 years and 9 months

Frequency / Schedule: 2x a month on Friday or Saturday from 7PM - 11:30 PM; ad hoc potential weeknight

Compensation: $22-26/hour DOE

This welcoming and easygoing family is seeking a kind, safe, and reliable as-needed babysitter to care for their two young daughters at their home in Rock Stream, NY! 

The ideal candidate will be active, safety-conscious, imaginative, and confident caring for both an infant and a preschooler. Someone who can engage their toddler in age-appropriate activities while balancing the needs of the baby is key. The family is loosely inspired by the Montessori Method, and prioritizes gentle boundaries, offering choices, and respect-based care. The family has two very sweet dogs—no pet care required, but comfort around animals is a must. Household support is minimal—just bottle washing and cleaning up after play!

Requirements:

1+ years of professional childcare experience

Safe and reliable vehicle

CPR/First Aid certified
