(OPEN) Reliable and Engaged Full-Time Infant Nanny Needed for Kind First-Time Parents in Snyder, NY!

Schedule: 7:30am to 5:30pm 4 days per week (flexible) with occasional weekend coverage
Compensation: $20–25/h DOE

A thoughtful, down-to-earth family in Snyder, NY is seeking a nurturing and attentive full-time nanny to care for their first child, due in August 2025! With both parents working full-time, this family is looking for a provider with a warm and calm presence who is genuinely excited to support their baby’s development and well-being.
This is a childcare-focused position that will center on high-quality, responsive infant care. The ideal candidate will bring a calm, engaged energy to the day, and will feel confident with infant routines, bottle feeding, and early developmental milestones. While Mom and Dad are still forming their own parenting approach, they’re looking for someone who is open to collaboration, respectful of their choices, and able to gently offer guidance when needed. A nanny with a thoughtful, grounded presence and a passion for working with newborns will be a wonderful fit!
As their little one grows, this family is excited to partner with a nanny who is open to taking neighborhood walks and occasional visits to the nearby playground or library. Responsibilities will include all child-related tasks such as feeding, diapering, managing naps, light tidying of baby spaces, and washing bottles. Familiarity with safe sleep and feeding routines is also a must.

Requirements:
2+ years of professional childcare experience (infant experience strongly preferred)
CPR/First Aid certified
Up-to-date on routine vaccinations including COVID, Flu, and Tdap
Safe and reliable transportation
Willingness to make a long-term (1+ years) commitment
