(OPEN) Engaging and Confident Part-Time Nanny Needed for Easygoing Family with Newborn in Victor, NY!

Schedule: W/Th/F 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with occasional evening/date night hours

Compensation: $20–28/hour DOE

A warm and easygoing family in Victor, NY is seeking a nurturing, confident nanny to care for their baby girl starting mid-September, just before Mom returns to work full-time in October. With both parents working outside the home, this family is hoping to find a reliable, engaging caregiver to support them three days per week, with the opportunity for occasional evening/date night coverage.

The ideal candidate will be calm, confident, and knowledgeable in all aspects of newborn care, including bottle feeding, soothing, developmental milestones, and gentle sleep strategies. A provider who is CPR/First Aid certified and has prior infant experience is a must. The family values someone who is dependable, mature, and enjoys forming a strong connection with a new baby and first-time parents during these foundational early months!

Duties will center around the baby’s daily needs—bottle prep and cleaning, feeding, diapering, and light tidying of toys and shared spaces. Once trust and familiarity are established, the family is open to local outings and will provide use of the family vehicle for any future adventures. 

The family has two friendly cats, so comfort around animals is important (though no pet care is expected). This position will also require a candidate who is physically capable of safely navigating a multi-level home and frequent stairs while caring for an infant. Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience

Experience with newborns

CPR/First Aid certified

Willing to make a long term commitment
