Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $22–24/hour, DOE

A Flower City Nannies returning client family in Rochester, NY is seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to provide attentive care for their one-year-old child from February to the end of June, 2026! This is a full-time, temporary position as their little one will be transitioning to daycare this summer. Both parents work from home—Dad full-time and Mom on a hybrid schedule—and are excited to welcome a caring and dependable nanny into their daily routine during this important developmental stage.

The family is looking for a nanny who is confident and experienced with toddlers and understands the unique balance of structure, independence, and connection that this age requires. They value gentle, developmentally-minded caregiving and are hoping for someone who can support their child’s growing curiosity, mobility, and emerging communication skills. Responsibilities will include maintaining the child’s daily routine, preparing simple meals and snacks, supporting nap schedules, and engaging in age-appropriate, enriching activities. Outdoor time is encouraged, and trips to the park or library are welcomed as part of the day.

The family has a dog and a cat, so comfort around pets is a must, though no pet care is required. Their ideal nanny is warm, engaging, and proactive, with a calm and nurturing presence. Someone who is confident in their experience, communicative, and able to create a safe, stimulating environment for a young toddler will be a wonderful fit. Light child-related tidying will be asked and appreciated.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience
