A warm, down-to-earth family in Tully, NY is searching for an experienced and professional nanny to care for their calm, curious, and easygoing 1-year-old daughter. Both parents work from home and are seeking a dependable part-time caregiver who can seamlessly support their family’s daily routine and grow with them in the years ahead.
The ideal nanny will have a strong background in infant and toddler care and be knowledgeable about early toddler milestones such as mobility, language development, emerging independence, and age-appropriate routines. Experience supporting transitions like walking, solid foods, and evolving nap schedules is important. A calm, engaging presence and a play-based, responsive approach will help encourage exploration, confidence, and learning throughout the day.
While the primary focus will be loving, attentive childcare, the family would appreciate light household support during nap times—such as washing dishes/bottles, tidying toys, and loading the dishwasher. As the relationship develops, they are excited for their nanny to enjoy short outings with their daughter, including trips to the library or nearby parks. Strong communication skills, a warm and professional demeanor, and comfort collaborating with work-from-home parents will be key to success in this role. While not required, occasional evening babysitting would be a bonus. The family also shares their home with two affectionate Labrador retrievers, so comfort around pets is a must.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing, reliable nanny who enjoys supporting toddlers through early learning, movement, and communication milestones and is looking for a meaningful, long-term role with a kind family.
Requirements:
2+ years of professional childcare experience
CPR/First Aid certified
Willingness to make a long-term commitment
