(OPEN) Executive Assistant / House Manager Hybrid Role for Professional Family in Washington, DC!

Location: Washington, D.C.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (daytime hours, with occasional flexibility for events)
Compensation: $130,000/year base salary + 10% annual bonus. The family may be open to a higher compensation package based on experience.

A welcoming, executive family in Washington, D.C. is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant / House Manager to provide seamless support across both professional and household operations. This dynamic role divides time 50/50 between the executive’s downtown office and the family’s residence in Northwest D.C., offering the right candidate an opportunity to bring structure and efficiency to a dynamic and friendly family.

As Household Manager, this individual will oversee daily household operations, including vendor and contractor management, maintenance schedules, errands, and organization of the home. They will coordinate small gatherings and catered events, manage household inventories, and ensure vehicles, utilities, and systems remain in top condition. The role also includes family logistics such as school pick-ups, scheduling, and occasional childcare support for two school-aged children during brief parental absences. A natural problem-solver who enjoys creating order and anticipating needs will thrive in this position.

In the Executive Assistant capacity, the candidate will serve as a trusted right hand to a busy CEO with multiple ventures—managing complex calendars, travel arrangements, communications, and expenses while ensuring all professional and personal priorities are handled smoothly. They will assist with preparing meeting materials, coordinate with professional teams, and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency. A proactive mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to stay several steps ahead are essential.

Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting an executive and/or high-net-worth household preferred

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and scheduling tools

  • Willingness to make a long-term commitment to the family

  • Willingness to sign NDA as a condition of employment 

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
