(OPEN) Energetic and Outdoorsy Nanny/Family Assistant Needed for Three Fun Boys in Fairport, NY!

Schedule: M–W 7:30am–5:30pm
Compensation: $23–30/hour DOE

A busy and loving family in Fairport, NY is seeking a reliable, proactive, and warm Nanny/Family Assistant to join their household this December! With two working parents and three energetic boys, they’re looking for someone who can bring calm organization to their bustling home while creating a fun and nurturing environment for the children.

The family’s ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a lively household filled with laughter, play, and pets (they have three friendly dogs!). Their three boys—ages 8, 4, and 2—are curious, imaginative, and full of personality. They love books, music, and exploring outdoors on the family’s five-acre property. The parents describe themselves as laid-back and flexible but appreciate a caregiver who knows when to take charge, set boundaries, and keep the day running smoothly.

The position will include a mix of childcare and family assistant responsibilities. Core duties include morning routines, drop-offs and pick-ups for school and activities, and afternoon care with snacks, playtime, and occasional adventures to local parks. A family vehicle will be available for pickups and errands if desired. While the children are in school or resting, the nanny will assist with light household tasks such as running errands, family laundry, tidying play areas, switching out sheets and making beds as needed, unloading and loading the dishwasher, organizing, and letting the dogs out as needed. Someone proactive and self-directed will be a wonderful fit!

The family values creativity and engagement—someone who enjoys music, arts, reading, and spending time outdoors will feel right at home. A caregiver with an understanding of toddler development (and ideally some familiarity with early speech support or baby sign language) will be especially appreciated.

Requirements:

2+ years of childcare experience

CPR/First Aid certified

Safe, reliable vehicle 

Comfortable with dogs
