(OPEN) Proactive, Self-Starting Full-Time Household Manager for Active Family in Pittsford, NY!

Ages of Children: 8, 11, 11, and 12
Start Date: Flexible (ASAP or by early 2026)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, generally 7:30/8:00am–6:00/7:00pm (midday break from approximately 11:00am–2:30pm; earlier end time on Fridays)
Compensation: $28–$32/hr DOE

A warm, busy family in Pittsford, NY is seeking a proactive and highly organized Nanny/Household Manager to join their team and support their four school-aged boys, ages 8–12. With both parents working full schedules and the children becoming more independent, this role requires a candidate with exceptional household management and family organization skills, while maintaining a steady, positive presence for the kids in the afternoons.

During the school year, mornings will primarily involve helping the youngest get ready and on the bus while the older boys leave earlier with dad. Once the morning routine is complete, the focus shifts to managing household and family logistics, such as keeping the home organized, running errands, staying on top of schedules, tracking homework and activities, and communicating upcoming needs to both parents. The family would love someone who can confidently take the lead, anticipate needs, and maintain systems that keep the household running smoothly. Midday hours are generally flexible, with a break from 11:00am–2:30pm. Afternoons are centered around overseeing after-school routines, assisting with transportation to sports and activities, and helping with light household tasks such as meal prep, laundry, and organization.

The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and self-directed, someone who takes pride in creating order and keeping things running seamlessly. A good sense of humor and calm, confident energy will go a long way, especially when engaging with busy pre-teens and keeping them on track with chores, schedules, and responsibilities. This family offers a 30–60 day paid trial period to ensure it’s the right mutual fit, and they are open to a part-time start through the end of the year before transitioning to full-time in the new year if preferred. Summer hours may shift slightly to start later in the mornings, while still maintaining full-time guaranteed hours.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience

CPR/First aid certified
