A warm, easygoing family who recently relocated to the Pittsford, NY area is seeking an engaging, knowledgeable nanny to care for their first baby! Both parents work remotely and are looking for a nurturing caregiver to become a trusted part of their daily routine. With dedicated home office space, the family values a nanny who is confident working alongside work-from-home parents while maintaining independence and professionalism.

The focus of this position will be on high-quality, attentive infant care. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of childcare experience, with a calm, adaptable personality and a genuine passion for supporting babies through their first year and beyond. Experience with newborns is essential, and bonus points if the candidate has a background in healthcare, nursing, or other child development fields.

Daily responsibilities will center on supporting feeding, naps, diapering, soothing, and actively engaging the baby in age-appropriate play and development. As the child grows, the family hopes their nanny will help introduce solids, with knowledge of homemade purees, baby-led weaning, and healthy whole-food feeding practices. Child-related household tasks such as bottle washing, baby laundry, and light tidying will be included.

Once the family has established a trusting relationship with their nanny, local outings will be appreciated. The family values an active lifestyle and gentle parenting with boundaries, and hopes to find a nanny who can align with their easygoing yet orderly household.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional childcare experience

Safe and reliable vehicle

CPR/First Aid certified

Willingness to make a long-term commitment to the family
