(OPEN) Attentive, Experienced Rotational Nanny for Sweet Infant in East Amherst, NY!

Ages of Children: 6 months
Start Date: July, 2025
Schedule: Rotational schedule of 4-days-on/4-days-off. Typical working hours will be 6-10 hours per day, with a range of 24-30+ hours per rotation.

Compensation: $20-25+/h

A warm, kindhearted family in East Amherst is seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their sweet baby boy starting in mid-July! Both parents are healthcare professionals and are looking for someone reliable to support them as they transition back to work. The schedule will rotate weekly, but the nanny can expect a consistent 4-day-on/4-day-off work week of 24–30+ hours.

These loving parents describe their son as a happy, curious baby who thrives on connection and routine. He enjoys tummy time, music, sensory play, and stroller walks around the neighborhood. He currently takes bottles and naps 30 minutes to an hour a few times a day. By the time the position begins, he may be starting solids, so a candidate who is familiar with the transition from bottles to purees and/or Baby-Led Weaning will be a bonus! The family has two very docile cats—no pet care is required, but comfort around cats is appreciated.

The ideal candidate is nurturing, dependable, and has experience with infants. This family is excited to find their ideal match, and are looking for candidates with a background in early childhood education or multiple years of experience working with young children and infants. Above all, they’re seeking someone who will keep their son safe, engaged, and happy! Once trust is established, the family is open to neighborhood outings and the nanny taking their son to local activities. While this role is primarily childcare-focused, light child-related tidying and occasional bottle washing will be asked and appreciated.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations including COVID

Safe and reliable vehicle

CPR/First Aid certified

Willingness to make a long-term commitment to the family
