A friendly family settling into Henrietta, NY is seeking a steady, engaging part-time nanny to support their energetic and joyful two-year-old daughter. With Mom starting a new role and Dad working largely from home, they are excited to partner with a caregiver who brings warmth, consistency, and a thoughtful approach to toddler development.
This position is focused on creating a nurturing, well-rounded day that blends play, learning, and rest. Their daughter loves books, music, animals, being outdoors, and imaginative, silly play. She does best with clear routines, gentle structure, and a caregiver who can offer calm guidance while encouraging confidence and independence. A nanny who enjoys planning simple activities, fostering curiosity, and supporting independent play when appropriate will thrive in this role.
Daily responsibilities include supporting naps, preparing simple meals and snacks, leading age-appropriate activities, reinforcing routines, and managing light tidying related to the child. The family values a screen-free day and is looking for someone who is fully present and engaged during work hours.
They are hoping to find a nanny who is patient, attentive, and emotionally attuned—someone who balances fun and affection with kind, consistent boundaries. Prior experience caring for toddlers or a background in early childhood education is strongly valued.
This is a lovely opportunity for a dependable, development-focused nanny to build a meaningful connection with a toddler and collaborate closely with a communicative, appreciative family during an exciting new chapter in their lives.
Requirements:
2+ years of professional childcare experience
CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)
