Compensation: $22-25/h DOE

A kind and welcoming Pittsford, NY family is seeking a reliable, seasoned, and nurturing nanny to support their sensitive and affectionate toddler—and soon, their newborn baby arriving this spring! With a growing family, they are eager to welcome someone whose long-term passion is childcare, and who brings consistency, warmth, and a steady presence to their home.

This position centers around engaged, developmentally-minded care for their daughter, who thrives with one-on-one attention, gentle support, and a patient, reassuring caregiver. She enjoys crafts, outdoor play, library trips, rec center visits, reading, and staying active throughout the day. A nanny with a calm, validating, and nurturing approach will be a wonderful match. The family limits screen time, and they are seeking someone who is fully present and engaged with their little one. 

When the new baby arrives this spring, the role will gradually evolve to include gentle infant support alongside toddler care. Experience with newborns, juggling the needs of two young children, and confidently managing transitions will be deeply valued.

Responsibilities include planning engaging daily activities and enriching outings, supporting toddler development, preparing simple meals, light tidying, child-related laundry, and very occasional light pet care (letting the dogs out into the fenced yard). Mom works from home, so a nanny who is comfortable collaborating with an at-home parent is essential.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience

CPR/First Aid certified

Safe and reliable vehicle

Up-to-date on Flu/COVID/Tdap vaccinations preferred

Willingness to make a long-term commitment
