These warm, first-time parents relocating to Skaneateles this winter are seeking an experienced, patient, and nurturing full-time nanny to care for their baby girl, who will be six months old in January! Mom and Dad describe themselves as dynamic, social, and family-oriented, and they are hoping to find a wonderful caregiver who is loving, engaging, and looking to become part of their family long-term.
The family’s daughter is a happy and curious baby who they describe as smiley and well-behaved! They’re hoping to find a nanny who brings confidence and calm to the nursery—especially someone who understands (or is open to learning about) sleep conditioning and infant development, and who can be patient and supportive as their little one grows and learns to self-soothe at naptime and bedtime. The family would love to partner with a caregiver who can help establish healthy routines, support developmental milestones, and foster a warm and secure environment as their daughter continues to grow and explore.
Daily responsibilities will center around attentive infant care—feeding, diapering, naps, and playtime—along with child-related tidying, laundry, and maintaining a clean, organized space. As their little one grows, the family would love to work with a provider who enjoys planning simple outings to the local library, or stroller walks around the Skaneateles area. A caregiver who is safety-conscious, reliable, and proactive will be an excellent match, especially one who can bring calm confidence to areas such as feeding transitions and safe sleep practices.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a kind, grounded professional who loves babies and is looking to build a lasting relationship with a welcoming family. The family has one friendly cat in the home, so comfort working around animals is also required. The family is open to discussing flexibility with weekly hours and schedule, and are prioritizing finding the perfect fit for their family.
This is a truly special role for a nurturing and patient caregiver excited to help first-time parents feel supported and confident as they settle into their new home in Skaneateles!
