(OPEN) Organized and Proactive Part-Time Household Manager Needed for New Parents in Penfield, NY!

Start Date: January 2026 (flexible)
Schedule: M–F 1pm-5pm (flexible) with occasional evening/date night coverage and potential to expand hours over time.
Compensation: $25–30+/h DOE

A thoughtful and easy-going family in Penfield is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Household Manager to join them as they settle into life with their sweet newborn! With a busy household, a sweet golden retriever, and a new baby who arrived a little earlier than expected, they’re hoping to find someone warm, organized, and hands-on who can provide both household and occasional childcare support.

The family is seeking a provider who can help keep their home running smoothly in the afternoons, while also supporting their newborn’s care as needed (Mom will be home and caring primarily for their little one). Primary responsibilities include household tasks such as dishes, laundry, organization, and light general tidying, as well as meal prep and grocery shopping (family will provide weekly recipes and the candidate should be comfortable supporting dietary restrictions.) Additional support with scheduling appointments, coordinating with contractors, helping with light household projects (handy candidates welcome!), and pet care for their golden retriever (letting outside, short walks, occasional playtime) will be appreciated. As-needed newborn support will consist of playtime, feeding as needed, and overall warm and developmentally-focused and engaging care.

The family’s ideal candidate is someone warm and nurturing, as well as professional and organized with strong attention to detail. A candidate that is flexible and willing to pitch in where needed – from household tasks to childcare –  will be a welcome addition! This will begin as a part-time position, with the potential to expand the role (and hours) as their needs grow in the coming year.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional experience in a similar role

Safe and reliable vehicle

CPR/First Aid certified

Willingness to make a long-term commitment to the family
