(OPEN) Energetic Full-Time Nanny Needed for Easygoing Family with Infant in Brighton, NY – Summers in the Finger Lakes!
Age of Child: 8 months
Start Date: September 29th, 2025 (some flexibility)
Schedule: M-Th 8:30am - 5:30pm, F 8:30am - 4:00pm
Compensation: $24-28+/hour DOE
Benefits: Guaranteed hours, PTO, paid major holidays, sick days, summer housing provided if desired
A warm and flexible family relocating to Brighton, NY is seeking a reliable and engaging full-time nanny to care for their sweet 8-month-old son! With both parents working (Dad fully remote and Mom a hybrid of office/home), they’re looking for someone who can provide consistent, professional care during the week, with the option of joining them in the Finger Lakes during the summers! Candidates will be provided with housing accommodations during the summer months if they choose to join the family, but may also stay M-F and commute home on weekends. This family is also open to a provider who prefers to have summers off!
This is a childcare-focused position with responsibilities including daily care for their infant son (feeding, diapering, play, naps, etc.) while supporting developmental milestones through engaging play and age-appropriate activities. Experience with bottle prep, baby meal prep, and basic knowledge of introducing solids, purees and BLW, is a plus. Additionally, some support with child-related laundry and light tidying of play and nursery spaces, as well as local outings with the baby (walks, libraries, parks, local activities, etc.) will be asked and appreciated!
The family is seeking a nanny who is experienced with infants and comfortable supporting daily routines, is professional, reliable, and able to maintain healthy boundaries while working in a home with remote parents. Their ideal candidate is warm, engaging, and energetic - happy to spend days on the floor playing, reading, and keeping their son busy and curious. Though not a requirement for the role, the family welcomes candidates who may have a background in nursing, doula work, or another infant-focused field. The family has appreciated caregivers with professional training in the past and welcomes candidates with strong infant knowledge and a supportive, calm approach.

Requirements:
3+ years of professional experience in a similar role
Safe and reliable vehicle
CPR/First Aid certified
