A loving family in East Amherst is searching for a reliable and nurturing nanny to join their household and care for their baby boy beginning in September! With both parents working in healthcare, they are hoping to find someone dependable to support them as they return to their schedules. The role follows a rotating pattern of four days on, four days off, averaging between 24–30+ hours weekly.
Their little one is a cheerful, curious baby who thrives with a balance of play and routine. He enjoys music, stroller walks, sensory play, and tummy time. At present, he is bottle-fed and takes several short naps throughout the day, though by the time care begins he may be starting solids. Experience with Baby-Led Weaning or purees would be a wonderful bonus! The family shares their home with two gentle cats—while no pet care is needed, comfort around animals is important.
They would love to meet a nanny who is calm, attentive, and well-versed in infant care. Backgrounds in early childhood education or several years of hands-on experience with babies are highly valued. Safety, engagement, and warmth are the top priorities for this family. Once trust is established, they are comfortable with their son going on neighborhood strolls or attending age-appropriate local outings. The position is centered on childcare, with light child-related housekeeping and occasional bottle washing requested.
This role is a special chance for an experienced caregiver to build a meaningful connection with a sweet baby and become a valued part of a kind, welcoming family.
Requirements:
2+ years of professional childcare experience
Up-to-date on routine vaccinations including COVID
CPR/First Aid certified
Safe and reliable vehicle
Willingness to make a long-term commitment to the family
