(OPEN) Compassionate After-School Nanny with Special Needs Experience for Kind Family in Buffalo, NY!

Ages of children: 8 and 5 years old

Start date: ASAP 

Schedule: The typical schedule will fall M-F (Mondays and Wednesdays 3:15-7:30, T/Th/F 3:15-7:00). Additional Saturday night hours available based on candidate preference!

Compensation: $25-26/hr DOE

This kind and professional family in Buffalo, NY, is looking for an exceptional nanny with experience with autism spectrum disorder. The family has two sweet children who are 8 and 5 years old, and they are hoping to find a candidate to join them as soon as possible. 

The family’s youngest child has special needs, so a provider who is knowledgeable and confident in providing nurturing care to neurodivergent children will be a wonderful fit! After-school activities and early evening routines will be the focus of this role, so a candidate who is comfortable transporting children and supporting those afternoon transitions will be a welcome addition. While childcare will be the main focus of this role, the family would be grateful to work with a nanny who is open to providing some assistance with light household tidying of common areas when time allows.

Requirements

2+ years of professional childcare experience

CPR/First Aid certified 

A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Willingness to make a long-term commitment
