(OPEN) Warm, Proactive, and Energetic Full-Time Nanny Needed for Kind and Professional Family in Pittsford, NY!

Ages of children: 7, 5, and 2.5 years old

Start date: June 4th, 2025

Schedule: The typical schedule will fall on M/W/F from 7am-6pm, and Tuesdays from 8:15am-3:15pm or similar

Compensation: $22-27/hr DOE

Benefits: Guaranteed hours, PTO, sick days, paid major holidays. The family may be open to providing a vehicle for professional use if needed.

This returning Flower City Nannies family is thrilled to begin the search for a caring and energetic nanny to join them in Pittsford, NY, and support their three sweet and lively children! This is a full-time position guaranteeing 40 hours per week on M/T/W/F, with Thursdays off. The typical daily routine consists of morning wake-ups and getting the two older children ready for school, spending the daytime hours with the 2-year-old, and after-school hours with all three children. Occasional full-day care for all three children can be expected during school breaks and summers, though the two oldest do participate in several weeks of summer camps and/or spending time with their grandparents. 

The family’s ideal nanny will thoughtfully engage the children in age-appropriate activities, and be knowledgeable in supporting toddlers and young children in their development. A proactive provider who plans enriching experiences throughout the day beyond basic care, such as taking walks and adventures to local parks or visiting the local library, will be a wonderful fit!  Both parents are friendly, busy professionals in the medical field, so reliability is paramount in this role. Child related tidying, laundry, and simple meal prep will be asked and appreciated.

These kind parents envision their provider growing with their family for years to come, and would love to work with a candidate who is willing to take on additional household management duties as the children get older. Once their youngest is in part-time pre-school,  some light assistance with meal prep, family laundry, organizational projects, and seasonal closet swaps for the children will be appreciated!

Requirements

2+ years of professional childcare experience

CPR/First Aid certified 

A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations

Willingness to make a long-term commitment to the family
