(FILLED) Professional, Discrete, and Proactive Household Manager for Prominent Family in Irving, NY!

Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm with flexibility for 20-40 hours, based on candidate preference

Compensation: $20-28/h

This busy, kind, and professional family is looking for an exceptional Household Manager to help manage their multiple properties and three wonderful children in Irving, NY! The family is open to providing anywhere from 20-40 hours per week, based on candidate preference. As a prominent local family, a candidate who is discrete and has experience working with high-profile families is preferred, and a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) will be required as a condition of employment. The family travels for work and leisure, so occasional overnights and domestic travel with the family will be asked and appreciated. 

These loving parents describe each of their three children as unique in personality and needs! The oldest is a “total teenager”, who is friendly, respectful, athletic, and fun, and who enjoys teaching his Mom all of the new “teenage slang”! Their middle child thrives with consistency and kind but firm boundaries, and the youngest is sweet, fun-loving, and enjoys playing outside. The two youngest children have special needs, so a provider who has experience working with neurodivergent children will be a welcome addition. Hours will be split between childcare related duties and household management, so a candidate who is proactive and skilled at scheduling their days efficiently will be a wonderful fit! 

Household management duties will include assessing needs and scheduling maintenance/vendors for the family’s primary residence and second home (local), assisting with family laundry, meal prep, groceries, errands, and organizational projects as needed. A candidate with a collaborative approach who can anticipate and fill needs with minimal direction will be an excellent addition to the family and team.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience 

CPR/First Aid certified

Safe and reliable vehicle

Willingness to sign NDA as a condition of employment
