(OPEN) Caring and Experienced Part-Time Nanny Needed for Active Toddler in Henrietta, NY!

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:30pm–8:30pm (with occasional weekend hours by request)
Compensation: $20–22/h DOE

A warm family relocating to the Rochester area this fall is seeking a responsible, nurturing nanny to care for their active 15-month-old son in the afternoons and evenings. Mom is a busy healthcare professional, and with their son enrolled in a morning daycare program, the family is excited to welcome a caring professional who can provide consistency, patience, and developmental support during the second half of the day.

The position will begin with daycare pickup in Henrietta, followed by engaging, attentive care in the family’s home. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience with toddlers, and be confident balancing play, learning, and gentle structure. Encouraging the child’s communication and speech, supporting a healthy vegetarian diet, and maintaining a smooth evening routine (dinner, playtime, and bedtime prep) will all be part of the role.

Responsibilities will include preparing and feeding the child dinner, tidying up after meals and play, and assisting with child-related laundry and household tasks. Occasional errands and weekend hours may be requested with advance notice. The family values a nanny who is reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable driving with a toddler in the car seat.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience

Safe and reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and comfort driving with a car seat

CPR/First Aid certified

Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to commit to the family for at least 6 months
