(OPEN) Engaging and Nurturing Nanny Needed for a Curious 20-Month-Old in Pittsford, NY!

Schedule: Full-time OR part-time, 20–40 hours per week, depending on candidate preference. Typical schedule will fall M-F between the hours of 9am-6pm.
Compensation: $20–27/h DOE

A warm and loving family is seeking an experienced, long-term nanny to care for their active and curious 20-month-old! Responsibilities will include daily childcare, preparing nutritious toddler-friendly meals and snacks, light housekeeping and laundry related to the child, and creating opportunities for fun, exploration, and learning. The nanny will plan age-appropriate outings and activities—such as outdoor play, library visits, music and movement, sensory play, and other community-based adventures—that support healthy development and independence.

The family values a hands-on, developmental approach, with a strong focus on language building and social-emotional growth. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with toddlers, an understanding of key developmental stages, and a gentle, respectful caregiving style. They are looking for someone who can foster curiosity, creativity, and healthy routines while maintaining a flexible, laid-back environment guided by their child’s needs. Requirements

2+ years of professional childcare experience

A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Strong knowledge of toddler development and milestones
