A loving first-time family in East Amherst is seeking a warm, experienced nanny to care for their sweet six-month-old daughter as Dad transitions back to work in mid-April! Local family members provide care two days per week, and the family is looking for someone to step in three consistent weekdays, with flexibility available for the right long-term match.

These loving parents describe their little one as a happy and easygoing baby, having been surrounded by immense love from day one. She is an excellent overnight sleeper and is currently building more consistent crib naps after transitioning from contact naps. The family follows her cues closely and would value a caregiver who feels confident supporting age-appropriate routines while maintaining a responsive, baby-led approach. Solids have recently been introduced, and they take a relaxed, intuitive approach to feeding.

This is a childcare-focused role centered entirely around daily care and development. Responsibilities include feeding, diapering, supporting naps, engaging in developmentally appropriate play, and maintaining tidy nursery and play areas. Bottles will be prepared in advance each morning, allowing the nanny to focus fully on attentive, nurturing care. As their child grows, the family would love someone excited to plan outings such as library visits, neighborhood walks, and local classes.

Both parents work from home in private office spaces. They describe themselves as open and learning-oriented, welcoming gentle guidance and valuing a caregiver with strong infant knowledge who can share thoughtful recommendations when appropriate. They hope to grow their family in the future and are eager to find someone interested in building a lasting, long-term relationship!

The ideal candidate brings at least five years of professional childcare experience, and a calm and nurturing presence. They are seeking someone who feels like an extension of their own love and care — warm, attentive, dependable, and genuinely invested.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a career nanny who truly enjoys the infant stage and is excited to grow alongside a kind, appreciative family for years to come!
