(OPEN) Playful & Patient Full-Time Nanny Needed for Sweet Twin Toddlers in Mendon, NY!

Age of Children: (Almost) 2-year-old twins!

Contract Dates: August 2026 – March 2027 (approximate)

Schedule: M–F, 9am–5pm

Compensation: $20–30/hr DOE

A warm, welcoming family in Mendon is seeking an experienced, engaging full-time nanny to care for their adorable twin boys beginning in August! This position is expected to continue through approximately March 2027, making it an excellent opportunity for a nanny seeking a meaningful temporary role with a wonderful family. Both parents work remotely from home and are hoping to find a confident, nurturing caregiver who can take the lead during the day while providing a fun, enriching, and loving environment for their active toddlers.

The family's twin boys are happy, curious, and energetic little explorers who love books, outdoor adventures, sensory play, and hands-on learning. While they share many interests, each child has his own unique personality—one outgoing and adventurous, the other thoughtful, sensitive, and inquisitive. The family follows a child-centered approach that encourages independence, exploration, and learning through play, and they would love to find a nanny who appreciates similar values. Experience with Montessori-inspired care, toddlers, or twins would be especially welcome.

The primary focus of the role will be attentive childcare, including planning engaging activities, reading, outdoor play, walks, playground visits, and supporting the boys as they continue developing communication, social, and emotional skills. Child-related tidying will be appreciated, including encouraging the little ones to help tidy up toys after use, as well as maintaining an organized environment throughout the day. The family will provide a vehicle for outings and would love to work with someone who enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring the community. The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and able to remain calm and positive while navigating caring for two busy toddlers at once.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience

CPR/First Aid certified
