A warm, busy professional family in Victor, NY is seeking a fun, proactive, and dependable Nanny / Family Assistant to support their two young children and help bring ease and consistency to their household. The family previously had a beloved long-term nanny and truly values the comfort, flexibility, and support that in-home care provided for their children and day-to-day routines. They are now exploring either a full-time nanny role or an after-school focused position ahead of their oldest child starting kindergarten this fall.
The family’s children are energetic, playful, and thrive with caregivers who are warm, enthusiastic, and highly engaged. They are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, encourages creativity and outdoor play, and can create a fun and active atmosphere while still confidently maintaining boundaries and structure. The family especially values outdoor time year-round and would love a nanny who enjoys staying active and adventurous with the children.
Responsibilities will include attentive childcare, preschool transportation, school pickups, engaging the children in fun and developmentally appropriate activities, and supporting afternoon and evening routines. The family would also appreciate support with Family Assistant tasks such as grocery runs, light meal prep, children’s laundry, light tidying and organization, and occasional vacuuming of high-traffic areas. They are ultimately hoping to find someone proactive who naturally integrates into the family’s routines, takes initiative, and helps lighten the mental load for two busy working parents.
The family also has two large, friendly German Shepherds, so comfort around dogs is important. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny seeking a long-term role with a welcoming family who truly values the support and connection that an exceptional caregiver brings into the home.
