(OPEN) Active & Organized After-School Nanny / Family Assistant Needed in Brighton, NY!

Ages of Children: 5 and 7 years old

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: M-F 3:00pm–7:00pm with some flexibility

Compensation: $20-25+/hour DOE

A welcoming family new to the Rochester area is seeking an energetic, dependable Nanny / Family Assistant to support their two active and social school-aged children! This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, helping manage the afternoon routine, and becoming a supportive presence for a family balancing demanding professional schedules.

Responsibilities will include school and aftercare pickups, transportation to activities and tutoring, homework support, engaging the children in active and creative play, and helping maintain a fun, positive afternoon rhythm. Both children are energetic, outgoing, and love soccer, art projects, and hands-on activities, so the ideal candidate will enjoy being interactive and involved. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the children’s laundry, light tidying related to the children, and helping keep the family organized throughout the week.

The ideal candidate is active, flexible, and proactive, with a warm and upbeat personality. The family would love to find someone who can confidently jump in to the “chaos coordinator” side of busy family life while also genuinely connecting with the children and supporting their growth and independence. A nanny who enjoys outdoor play, sports, art, and helping children stay engaged and active will be an excellent fit. Previous long-term nanny experience is appreciated but not required, and the family is open to candidates with varying levels of experience who bring the right energy and personality to the role.
