A loving, returning Flower City Nannies family is searching for a dedicated and proactive full-time Nanny/Family Assistant to support their three active and affectionate children in Pittsford, NY. With a consistent four-day schedule and guaranteed 40 hours per week, this role offers the opportunity to grow with a family that values warmth, dependability, and thoughtful engagement.
The two older children attend school during the day, so most of your time will be spent with the family’s curious and playful 2.5-year-old. Mornings include helping the older children get ready and off to school, followed by a day of fun and learning with the youngest. Afternoons transition into sibling time once everyone is home. During school breaks and summer months, you’ll occasionally care for all three, though the older kids attend camps and visit with extended family at times.
The family is looking for someone who brings enthusiasm and creativity to the role—someone who enjoys planning outings to the park or library, and fostering development through play, exploration, and structured routines. A background in early childhood development or toddler care is highly valued.
Both parents work in the medical field and maintain demanding schedules, so punctuality and consistency are essential. In addition to childcare, responsibilities will include light housekeeping related to the children, simple meal preparation, and laundry. Over time, and especially as the youngest enters preschool, the family would love to have support with tasks like meal prep, household organizing, and seasonal clothing rotation.
This position is ideal for a career nanny or caregiver who enjoys building long-term relationships and wants to contribute to a supportive, respectful, and engaging household environment.
Requirements:
2+ years of professional childcare experience
CPR/First Aid certified
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Up-to-date on routine vaccinations
Willingness to make a long-term commitment to the family
