Schedule: M-F 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM, with flexibility for additional hours
Compensation: $20-22/h

This welcoming and professional couple in Brighton, NY is seeking a dedicated and experienced nanny to join them in caring for their sweet and smiley 10-month-old son! They are hoping to find a wonderful fit sooner than later, as the family is expecting their second child in just a few months. Both parents have some flexibility in their schedules, and are in and out of the home throughout the day between work appointments. Once the family has welcomed their newest addition in August, they are hoping to spend the month bonding with their newborn, as well as adjusting to being a family of four! During this time, they are open to providing guaranteed hours that would consist primarily of family assisting and household management duties. They are also open to working with a candidate who may like to take the month of August off to enjoy the summer, or a reduced number of weekly hours before resuming the typical schedule in September. The family looks forward to discussing these details based on candidate preference during initial interviews, and to finding a solution that works well for all parties!

Their ideal nanny will be warm, knowledgeable, and safety-conscious, while providing engaging, structured care focused on play and education. Professional experience caring for infants is highly preferred. This growing family would love to find a dedicated nanny to join them long-term, and is open to increasing weekly hours over time. Their 10-month-old is currently transitioning from contact naps to independent naps, and the family will appreciate someone who is patient and comfortable assisting with this process. These loving parents describe their son  as a very happy, smiley baby who loves interaction, especially when people sing to him! Once trust is established, the family would love for their nanny to take him out and about for local activities and exploration.

This role is strictly childcare-focused, with some light assistance with child-related tidying and laundry. While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate with fluency or knowledge of Spanish, and who can incorporate language skills into their days with the children. Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations including COVID

Safe and reliable vehicle

CPR/First Aid certified
