These kind, thoughtful parents in Pittsford, NY, are seeking a nurturing, grounded, and proactive Nanny to care for their curious, energetic, and sensitive toddler! They are hoping to find a caregiver who can build on the wonderful foundation established with their current nanny and become a trusted, long-term part of their family.
These involved and responsive parents value a thoughtful, relationship-centered approach to raising their son. Their little one is curious, active, and eager to explore the world around him. They are looking for someone who can match his enthusiasm while bringing a calm, grounded, and consistent presence to his days. A caregiver who enjoys outdoor exploration, child-led play, and finding opportunities for learning in everyday experiences will be especially appreciated. The family values a natural balance of time at home and local outings, with plenty of room for imaginative play, exploration, and following their son's interests throughout the day.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include planning age-appropriate activities, outdoor play, neighborhood walks, library story times, preparing simple meals, and supporting a consistent nap routine. The family values a balance of time at home and local outings. They would love to find someone who is happy to spend time getting to know their son and establishing a comfortable routine before gradually expanding into outings that involve driving farther from home. Meals and snacks are provided by the family, and the caregiver will help with simple meal preparation and serving. The family currently avoids gluten and dairy due to their son's digestive sensitivities.
The family's ideal candidate is nurturing, emotionally attuned, dependable, and knowledgeable about toddler development. Someone who can validate feelings, encourage independence, and bring steady energy to busy toddler days will be a welcome addition to the team. They are hoping to find a caregiver who communicates openly, takes initiative, and is excited to make a commitment of at least one year, with the potential to grow with the family beyond that.
If you are a warm, grounded, and engaging caregiver who loves helping toddlers learn through meaningful everyday experiences, we invite you to apply for this wonderful opportunity!
