(OPEN) Proactive, Organized & Discreet Family Assistant Needed for Three Children in Rochester, NY!

Ages of Children: School-Age, Toddler & Infant
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: M-F 12:00pm–8:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Compensation: $30-$35/h DOE

A dynamic family in Rochester, NY is seeking a reliable, discreet, and highly organized Family Assistant to support their household and three children! This long-term role is focused on high-quality household management and family coordination, with hands-on childcare two days per week.

The Family Assistant will help maintain smooth daily operations through household admin and organization, light housekeeping, errands, shopping and returns, organizing children’s spaces and school bags, supporting pets, and managing schedules and logistics for school and activities. The family values discretion, professionalism, and a proactive approach to keeping the home running efficiently. A candidate who possesses a “pitch-in” attitude and who is willing to lend a hand where needed will be a wonderful fit. Childcare responsibilities will include attentive, age-appropriate care for two days per week. This includes preparing meals and snacks, supporting routines and transitions, and engaging children in play, developmental activities, and excursions while maintaining a safe, structured, and calm environment with flexibility where needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a Family Assistant, Household Assistant, or related role

2+ years of professional childcare experience preferred (experience with school-age, toddlers, and infants a plus)

CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)

Safe and reliable vehicle

Willingness to sign an NDA and ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Willingness to commit long-term
