A kind and welcoming family in Victor, NY is seeking a warm, proactive, and emotionally attuned nanny to join their household this fall! This is a cherished return client of Flower City Nannies, whose current beloved provider is preparing to welcome a little one of her own. They are hoping to welcome their next amazing nanny in early-to-mid October, with flexibility for the right fit and time for a smooth transition.
The family’s ideal candidate will be warm, professional, and reliable, and ready to jump in and support their two sweet daughters. Their 4-year-old will be starting UPK this fall, so the majority of the day will be spent with their 2-year-old until school pickup at 1:45pm. Their sweet and spunky 4-year-old thrives with consistency and benefits from a caregiver who is calm, confident, and good at holding boundaries with kindness, humor, and redirection as needed.
The 2-year-old is a bright, playful, and adventurous toddler who brings lots of laughter to the day. As she continues to grow and explore, the family is mindful of supporting her speech development. They would love a caregiver who can gently incorporate simple, consistent activities into their daily rhythm to help encourage language skills.
During the day, their nanny will have one-on-one time with the 2-year-old and should feel confident planning enriching activities, outings (local libraries, parks, splash pads, etc.), and following a simple routine. A candidate who is confident in preparing simple, healthy, and balanced meals at lunchtime will be appreciated! The family would love to work with a provider who’s open to a light, at-home preschool-style rhythm as their youngest child grows.
Candidates should be comfortable with work-from-home parents, as well as having a family dog in the home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, nurturing, and confident nanny looking to join a kind and communicative family for years to come!
